FOR TEAMM

FOCUS AREAS

Nine leadership focus areas are highlighted during the TEAMM program.  Of those nine, the four MISSION focus areas will be addressed by your team. Your team will also select one of the five CARE (staff care) focus areas to give time to during TEAMM.

Of course every ministry will be stronger in some and weaker in others. TEAMM has built in flexibility so you can give more attention and time to the most needed issues for your ministry’s growth and development.

Here is a brief look at the nine areas of focus...
Mission Focus Areas
1 - MAIN THING

Call it vision, purpose, mission, or whatever.  But people better be able to walk away saying “I know the main thing” – Bill Hybels

2 - MAJOR ISSUE

Each team will identify one “Major Issue” that you will focus and spend time on over the eight months that you are together with TEAMM.

3 - MEASURES

Gain clarity and team alignment on what are the proper measures that will define fruitfulness for your ministry.

4 - TOP TIER GOALS

It is extremely powerful for a ministry team to be “locked in” on the same 2 to 3 top goals for the ministry.

Care (Staff Care) Focus Areas
5 - OVERSIGHT

We know providing caring oversight for our team is the right thing to do, but it can be very difficult to live it out with the priority it requires.

6 - COMMUNICATION

So much hinges on good communication for a team.  Some extra thought and consideration is given to this important leadership area.

One of the most effective ways to care deeply for our team, and at the same time, increase our effectiveness in our mission, is to focus time and effort on the development and growth of our team.

7 - STAFF DEVELOPMENT
8 - PROMOTING SPIRITUAL GROWTH

A very specific area of staff development is spiritual growth.  Consideration is given to how our leadership can play a deeper role in the spiritual growth of our team.

9 - DISCOVER

Review practices that can help your team discover themselves (their experiences and wiring) and discover others on your team.
