Issachar Center for Urban Leadership has been investing in young urban leaders for decades now through a residential apprenticeship program. The vision and calling of the organization has expanded now to also serve and equip Christian leaders of all ages in the Denver area so they may in turn more fully contribute to the flourishing of low-income minority communities.

The Crossing is the home to Denver Rescue Mission’s largest “long term” programs for individuals escaping the grips of addiction, poverty and brokenness.   Bibles studies, case management, counseling and meals allow families and individuals all that is needed to successfully move forward in life after graduation.

Exec. Director:  Kent Scroggs

Outreach programs

God has planted ROP in a neighborhood along East Colfax that has been well known over the years for drugs, prostitution and brokenness.  In recent years this neighborhood has had a huge influx of immigrants from all over the world.  The mission of ROP is to meet needs, build relationships and restore lives through Christ.
